Sony’s new gadgets: Two Smallest 3D Still Cameras.

Sony recently announced two gadgets DSC-TX9 and DSC-WX5, two new models from Sony Cyber-shot famlily. The smallest 3D cameras in the world being full well capable of capturing 3D images.
Both of the gadgets use nothing but a sweeping motion with a single lens system.
This new shooting feature captures 15 images at different angles and then compiles them into one photo, creating a 3D-like effect on the display.The camera itself doesn’t have a 3D screen on it. By connecting 3D-compatible HDMI cables and 3D glasses, images clicked by the cameras can be viewed in 2D or striking 3D on compatible 3D televisions. The integrated Sweep Multi Angle lets users view images by tilting the camera back and forth.
DSC-TX9 has the usual sliding lens cover on the front and 3.5 inch- 921k resolution LCD touchscreen display. DSC-WX5 keeps a 2.8-inch LCD screen in order to view clear and crisp images.
Both TX9 and WX5- 12.2 megapixel cameras support the new features- Background Defocus, which enable users to highlight their subject and blur the image’s background and Superior Auto mode, which helps users capture sharper images with low image-noise levels, utilizes multiple shots, assesses the scene and robotically combines up to six shots for a greater quality image.
To enhances the image quality and capture natural colors for lifelike images, these gadgets are integrated with Natural Flash features. Both are designed to be capable of capturing moving objects as like as still objects.
A Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 4x zoom lens of TX9 can focus 0.4 inches away from the subject. The WX5 camera comes with a wide aperture (F2.4), installed with a Sony G lens (5x 24-120mm) to improve the low-light performance.
TX9 and WX5 have flexibility to choosing between the Memory Stick PRO Duo and class 4 and above SD/SDHC memory card formats.
Dark gray and red shades TX9 will cost about $400 whereas WX5 will approximately $300 available in silver and black.
